Theft

On 1/20/13 Deputy Cairns released David Herriott, 18, of Falmouth on a summons for Petit Shoplifting. David was accused of taking $2.35 worth of candy from the 7-11 on Tidewater Trail.

On 01/21/2013 Deputy Jeffries released JasonAdkins, 18, from Stafford on a summons for Petit Larceny atBelk.

On 1/23/13 Deputy Handy arrested David Bailey, 48, of Chantilly for Grand Larceny, Conspiracy to commit Larceny, Possession of Burglary Tools, False ID to LE after he was alleged to be Shoplifting from Macy's at the Spotsylvania Towne Center.

Assault

On 01/18/13 Deputy Basil obtained a misdemeanor domestic assault warrant on Timothy Breedon, 47, of Spotsylvania.

On 1/19/13 Deputy Friedman arrested William Kidd, 32, of Spotsylvania for domestic assault.

On 1/20/13 Deputy Fuller arrested James Tibbs, 47, of Spotsylvania for the Domestic Assault.

On 1/27/13 Deputy Tavarez arrested Luiz Narvaez 52 y/o of Fredericksburg for Domestic A&B in the 10100 block of Cotter Court.

DUI

On 1/19/13, Deputy Setlock arrested Charles D. Forman, 29, of Stafford, for speeding 52/35, DUI, and possession of marijuana in the area of Plank Road and Spotswood Furnace Road.

On 1/20/13, Deputy Plunkett arrested Christopher Aversa, 40, of Spotsylvania, for DUI after an accident on Smith Station Road near Cherry Blossom Lane. He was held on a $2,500 secured bond.

Narcotics

On 1/18/13, Sgt. Barber charged Christian Bacote, 20 of Connecticut, with possession of marijuana after a suspicious vehicle call on Heriot Row Court. Christian was released on a summons at the scene.

On 1/20/13, Deputy Kelley arrested Danen Roh, 30 of Spotsylvania, for possession of marijuana at 9507 Secca Drive. Deputy Kelley responded for a noise complaint and found a small grow inside the residence. Detectives Haney and Wright obtained a search warrant for the residence. One marijuana plant, several smoking devices and paraphernalia were seized. Danen was released on a summons at the scene.

On 1/21/13, Deputy Trippett released Virginia Dotson, 51, on a summons for possession of marijuana in the area of 11500 Mchenry Court after Mrs. Dotson was alleged to have attempted to burn down her house. The Fire Marshal will be continuing his investigation. Red Cross and Social Services will be assisting Mrs. Dotson due to her house being destroyed.

On 1/24/13 Deputy Cairns released Tyler Creekmore, 21, of Spotsylvania on a summons for Possession of Marijuana and Driving Revoked as a result of a traffic stop at Cherry Road and MacNamara Drive. Tyler's vehicle was towed for a 3 day impound.

On 1/24/13 Deputy Plunkett charged Brandon Beale, 30 of Spotsylvania with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop for defective equipment on Lafayette Blvd. Brandon was released on a summons at the scene.

On 01/25/2013, Deputy Wine arrested Benjamin Lewis 23 of Stafford for possession of Cocaine, possession of Marijuana, driving suspended, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and expired registration during a traffic stop at 5218 Jefferson Davis Hwy. Heather Fuller 23 of Manassas was also released on a summons for possession of Marijuana, possession of a Schedule III narcotic and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

On 1/27/13, Deputy Boyd arrested Edwin Ballard 29 y/o of Spotsylvania for Possession of Marijuana, PCP and Drunk in Public in the area of Econo Lodge.

Arrests

On 01/18/13, Detective Cantrell-Turner obtained a warrant against David H. MaitlandJr., 42, of Emporia,for abduction; a service request was sent to Emporia and Maitland was taken into custody shortly thereafter.

On 1/20/13, Deputy J. Arndt arrested Troy Dennie, 53, of Nashville, Tenn., for public intoxication and disorderly conduct in the area of Plank Rd and Andora Dr.

On 1/23/13, Sgt. Assur released Mr. Jerome Foxx, 37, of Spotsylvania on a summons for driving suspended. The 2008 Ford Focus was subsequently towed under 46.2-301.1 for a three day impound due to Jerome's prior convictions for driving suspended.

On 01/26/2013, Deputy Wine arrested Richie Bogart, 37, of Spotsylvania for drunk in public at Liberty Lanes Southpoint.

On 1/27/13 Deputy Lamont arrested Michael Newton, 22, of Spotsylvania for Felony Hit & Run in the area of 11900 block of Falcon Ridge Drive.

On 1/27/13 Deputy Trippett arrested Chelsea Payton, 26, of Louisa for Drunk in Public in the 10630 block of Courthouse Road.
