Or people are, wisely, just opting for AirPods?!I mean, what’s great about saving $50-$150+ by getting Beats if you only get the full AirPods experience on actual AirPods?
Most sales are about some level of less than ideal demand for the product in question.
I personally don’t know more than 1-2 people who use beats. And I never notice anyone wearing them when I’m traveling or shopping.
Obviously anecdotal to my life. But I just don’t think demand for Beats is particularly strong.
And to be fair, how would Apple ever successfully bet on two almost identical horses without letting one starve?
All Beats will ever be is a lineup of different “AirPods SE”, allowing Apple to sell budget audio devices without compromising the AirPods high-end brand identity and price point.
I don’t know I see a LOT more people use beats in the gym or out running than I do airpods. I think if apple doubles down on the active market for the beats offerings they can certainly double dip consumers looking for pro pods for everyday and still get people to buy the beats. I certainly would if they update the electronics while keeping them sweat proof.

These are like the standard sale prices. Far from clearance.
A standard sale from retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Target, etc. But from Apple too? That's the unusual part.
Apple does sales, but it's usually during the holidays or for back-to-school.
